We are always recruiting volunteers for our Community-focused Committees!

Our Mission is to make the East Market Street Corridor an economically vibrant, attractive, and safe community that attracts and sustains existing and new minority-owned businesses.

EMSDC is always appreciative of those who donate their time toward our continuous efforts to strengthen our community! There are times when caring citizens simply cannot donate time; In those cases, we are grateful for any financial contributions which are also critical to our endeavor to reach our community goals!

EMSDC also provides internships each semester to students attending NCA&T, Bennett College, Guilford College, and University of North Carolina-Greensboro. Most interns are majoring in Sociology, Social Work, or Business Administration. It is our pleasure to provide tomorrow's leaders with meaningful, life-enriching, and hands-on experience.
